3 beaches on Island of Krk that you must visit

 

Beach lovers, we have great news for you! If you are a fan of beautiful sandy beaches and crystal-clear sea, it’s time to book one of the beautiful houses on the island of Krk! Although it was hard to pick out what we think are the most beautiful beaches in this area, we have selected a few slightly more private beaches that you can head to by boat or car and enjoy for a whole day:

1. Vela Luka

Compared to the central beach of Baška, the beach of Vela Luka is much less crowded. You can reach it in two ways – on foot from Baška or by boat (taxi boat). If you decide to walk to this beach, be aware that the path is more demanding. So be sure to have comfortable shoes, enough water, a hat and sunglasses ready. Besides the beautiful sea, you also have a place where you can refresh yourself with a cold drink.

2. Oprna Bay

This beach is easier to reach by car, but you still have to be careful because you have to walk down from the hill to the beach. Here you will find a beach bar where you can refresh yourself and sun loungers and umbrellas where you can relax all day!

3. Golden Bay

The Golden Bay is a beautiful pebble beach between Stara Baška and Punat, which you can only reach by boat. Surrounded by a reef, you may be lucky enough to find some time for yourself on this beach.
