PALUD – an unexplored place in Istria worth visiting

 

Istria is known for its natural beauty, and one of the places that are not yet popular but worth a visit is the only ornithological park Palud, a place where bird lovers can observe these beautiful animals throughout the year.

Palud is a natural depression near the sea, but it turned into a swamp due to the influx of water. When coming to the very entrance to the reserve, there is a wooden house. Start your discovery going to the right, and you will soon reach a watchtower from where you can observe the diversity of wildlife in this area. This trail is circular and is 3.5 km long, making it easy for even the youngest family members to finish it.
