Hiking trails in Istria – the trail that will leave you speechless!

 

The Seven Waterfalls Trails is one of the hidden gems of the Istrian peninsula that you should definitely visit. On this trail, you will pass by beautiful waterfalls and untouched nature. The trail leads to the village of Kotle, known for the cavities that the river formed in the stone.

The entire route is 14 km long, and you will meet many nature lovers with children and pets on their way. But be careful – this is a moderately difficult trail that is quite steep and narrow in one part. Be sure to bring plenty of water and food, comfortable shoes and spare clothes.

Park your car at the water supply system in Buzet and start your walk along the left bank of the river. We absolutely recommend that you start your hike on the left side, because if your start on the right side, the first waterfall is 7 km away!
