Blue Cave, a place to visit!

 

The Blue Cave is a natural phenomenon located on the island of Biševo. It is one of the most beautiful caves in Croatia, known for its enchanting blue light reflected on its walls and ceiling. This magical phenomenon happens when the sun’s rays reach the cave through the water, giving it an amazing blue glow!

The Blue Cave is located on the west side of the island of Biševo, which belongs to the Split-Dalmatia County. The cave was formed over the years by the action of waves, because the sea water eroded the limestone rock that makes up the whole island.

The cave can be visited only by small boats, so the visit must be organized through travel agencies.
